Score your WhatsApp pitch before you send it
Paste the WhatsApp you are about to send a café or a store owner. Twelve checks, scored as you type, and one line to fix each. Still writing it? Start from the six messages that get a café to stock you.
Your message
The first WhatsApp to a café, a store or a small chain, line breaks and all.
The score
Twelve checks, one hundred points. Two are a guess, and say so.
Paste a message and it is scored as you type.
How it scores
Twelve checks, three groups. The thresholds are mine, not laws: seventy words is about what a store owner sees before tapping for more, and two rupee amounts read as an answer where three read as a rate card. Two checks pattern-match rather than read, and say so on the line.
Above 80, send it. Under 50, the message is about you; rewrite, do not patch. And 100 is a floor. A message can score 100 and still be dull.
What it cannot judge
- Whether that store should stock you at all. A perfect message to a café with no room for your category still scores 100.
- Whether your claims are true, or your timing, or how many you sent this week.
- Hindi or Tamil script. English and Hinglish in Latin letters only.
Mira runs a stricter version of this check on every draft before the founder sees it. The six openings it scores against are in the WhatsApp guide.
